My name is Philip Riley and I am based in Wrington in the beautiful south west of England. I trained originally with a company in Bristol but have worked over the years in many workshops and have learned from some very fine craftsmen.
I have always maintained a passion for the "traditional" piano, which is why as a restorer I choose to operate from a workshop rather than a showroom.
The most important thing for me is to make sure that the piano is internally sound, and whilst I fully appreciate the importance of how a piano looks in the home, I chose whenever possible to let the customer decide weather or not to have the piano stripped and re-polished.
